My Journey to Founding a Design Studio at 27, Episode 3

Episode 3

Hello everyone.

I would like to talk about my creative story and my own experience.

2016 is independent. Looking back, it was really unplanned.

I think that there are two patterns whenPattern is large.
The first person is a person who works as a design boutique or a production company and is independent in the late 20s.
The second one is the best time for the first half of his 30s.
I was the former. I think there are people who are more early independence, but this pattern is a lot of impression.

In modern times, there are many creators, and there are many people who can work on social media.

In 2016, most of my work was based on my friendship. I had a wide variety of work, such as web, DX, graphics, and video, with people who met independently.
However, because the thought that I want to make Japanese vaguely, or I like Japanese culture was fundamental, “Japanese culture”. I want to work with creatives. It was a word.

I often wear kimono at that time.
I am wearing it when I have time, but I think that I was making an iconic shape naturally by different、 with other designers.

For one year since I was independent, I worked with a lot of people, such as store branding, UI/UX, and branding. When I look back, I feel that I have been confident a little while working.
If I was working at an agency, I would have had a completely different post-independent flow, and I might have been able to accelerate the post-independent momentum.
However, I felt that I was able to make a lot of time to face with myself because I was able to work independently in a form that is not planned.
What is your value? I think it is very good that I made my own rails, like what you want to express as a creator, what you want to meet, and what you want to do.

From 2017 to 2018, we have gradually increased our work.
I would like to ask Mr. Kikuchi for a consultation from a person who met 5 years ago at that time, or from a person who met me in a place called Digital Hollywood.

A company of AI that handles Kabuki Robot Kibiro, and asked him to make a kabuki version of a robot using artificial intelligence. He collaborated with Mr. Sogoro Kawa, the 8th generation, and also branded a communication robot with the theme of Kabuki’s behavior.
When I look back, I think that it leads to activities that spread the work that I am doing now.

When I looked back on what I’ve been doing, there was a “work” for all my work.
For example, I felt that there was an element of the virtual reality of flowering, which was presented at the start-up festival “South by South West” held in Austin, USA. This work is made withMedia Media, a production company I originally enrolled.

I feel that there was an interesting work that led to the interest of people involved in everything.
I would like to talk about what was expressed in “South by South West”.

When I look back on my own story, I really have a lot of things. We are looking forward to seeing you again.

Thank you very much.
