Culture and Technology

In the second half of the event, we discussed the difference between the AI approach between Japan and Japan. Prof. Ishiguro said, “I tend to focus on efficiency and standardization, but the design of AI in Japan valuess, personality and friendship.” While AI captures AI as a tool, it isSeed by strong tendency to see as a “co-existing partner” in Japan. This idea is also a factor that makes Japan stand out in the Shosa-Future 」ue project

Future Prospects

Mr. Funayama said, “The future of AI is not just a tool, but it should be blended into life as a human being.” In addition, Professor Ishiguro shared the vision of the possibility that AI will be a partner that supports humanity, and people will rediscover humanity.

Overview and Future Outlook

This event was a place to explore the coexistence of AI and human beings, as well as deeply think about how technology and humanity affect. Kikuchi is asked how much AI and robots will support humanity. I would like to continue thinking about what value a design based on humanity has in the future society, and I hope that “Shosa-Future ue” will continue to evolve further.
