HI-06 with Shosa

KiQ collaborated with Dr. Hiroshi Ishiguro and others to implement "shosa," Japan's unique form of conduct, into an android.
HI-06 is a teleoperated android of robotics scholar Dr. Hiroshi Ishiguro (Professor, Osaka University). It was developed at ATR and Osaka University for the purpose of researching human presence and of working remotely on Hiroshi Ishiguro's behalf.
KiQ researched shosa and designed HI-06's shosa, implementing expressive, rich shosa into the android. Dr. Peter Kahn, a psychologist and professor at the University of Washington in the United States, also participated.
