KiQ Studio Relocation Due to Business Expansion

KiQ is pleased to announce that it has moved to Shibuya in December 2022. Through the relocation of the studio, we will further strengthen the promotion of the project to realize the mission of “Japanese beauty to the world”.

Background of design studio relocation

In March 2016, Akane Kikuchi Design started as a brand based on the sensibilities of Akane Kikuchi, the founder of Akane Kikuchi. The company changed its name as KiQ in 2020.

The number of clients reached 70 companies in January 2023, and in 2022, we started collaborative research on human behavior using Osaka University and robots.

In August 2022, he was appointed as the art director of the main pavilion of Osaka Expo, and has supported various design initiatives in the context of culture, art and science.

The number of employees is about 10. We plan to expand our organization to 20 people in two years, aiming to realize the global platform from Japan.

New Office

With the concept of “providing an environment where creators can maximize their value,” we moved to a spacious office of about 60 square meters that exceeds twice the old office.
