HI-06 with Shosa Released

HI-6 is a remotely operated Android for robotologist Hiroshi Ishiguro (Professor, Osaka University).
ATR and Osaka University were developed to study human presence and to work remotely instead of Hiroshi Ishiguro.

In addition to researching the works, KiQ designed the works of HI-6. By giving the HI-6 work developed by Mr. Ishiguro, we have the rich expressive ability of the person who became the model of Android to HI-6.

In addition to this, KiQ has been reconstructing the interpretation of ikebana and legislative stories based on the theme of ikebana’s works, such as Pureland altAR, and other Buddhist works. This time, I make the presence of Android more interesting.

Even though researchers understand that the design of the work is important, it was impossible to implement it. In addition, Android has been used for play, but the play is reproduced daily movements and dialogues, and it was not expressing expressive works.

The expressive work is not something that everyone can do on a daily basis, but only those with skills can act. This time, we have implemented a lot of expressions on Android.

Android doesn’t work with people at all. Therefore, it is not possible to copy the work of humans as it is. You need to design it as a work for Android.

This time, KiQ extracted the essence that is the point of beauty of movement and designed the work that can be done with Android hardware.

The work is an important element of communication, andAudiohronization with voice is also very important. In the implementation of the work when Android is talking and listening, we tune the movement according to the audio and realize a more sophisticated work.

The work is a movement with a heart, not to communicate with people.

Traditional cultures such as tea ceremony and kabuki have been expressed, but the works that KiQ defines and creates are a new type of place to act more human. KiQ tries to rede、 humanity whileActivities such works and activities.

Professor Peter Khan, Psychologist at the University of Washington, USA, explains how KiQ defines: “Even if you are not trained, everyone has a work thats in harmony with nature. Please re it. “On the other hand, Mr. Ishiguro, professor of Osaka University, saw the work of HI-6 developed in collaboration with KiQ, he said: “HI-6 has a work that I can’t do at all. I felt that I would like to leave all the lectures to HI-6.
