Announcing Shosa Room, an Android-Based Installation

“Shosa Room” is a work to rede。 human behavior and interactiveness, design and implement robots and avatars, and update the relationship between robots and humans.

Kikuchi performs direction by collaborating with Hiro Ishiguro, ATR and sound artist Tsuchira Sakuma.

Akan Kikuchi has produced works through human creations. TheWorks movement of this work is created by redevelopment using Mir。 Human and Kinect beyond the limit of the pneumatic motor.

Installation concept
“Workplace” is a communication that conveys from the ancient times of Japan that is born to harmonize with people. Based on the essence and origin of this word, we created a experience that feels “Shosa” in modern times through interaction with Android. Participants can feel harmony with their own mind and environment through interaction with Android. Changes in sound and light represent the level of and harmony of both people, and recall the background of the environment where Japanese four seasons and time flow were born. This gives participants a deep experience and find new ones.

The announcement will be held in Japan on June 2023 and will be announced in New York and Austria.
